David Brooks Brantley, age 76 of Marietta, GA passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Beloved patriarch of the Brantley Family, he married the love of his life 50 years ago and to this union they have a daughter, son and three grandchildren. Dave was also the adored brother of two sisters. He possessed a deep, and abiding love of God, family, country and Auburn University. He is a Veteran of the United States Air Force as Captain in Strategic Air Command. He retired from Lockheed in 2006, where he worked in the Skunk Works program for the F-22 and other projects. The family is honoring his love of Ice Cream with an Ice Cream Social reception one hour prior to his Celebration of Life Well Lived gathering at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016 H.M. Patterson & Son , Canton Hill Chapel 1157 Old Canton Rd. Marietta, GA 30068. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
