Our son, our brother, our father, our uncle, and our friend, Chris Kilpatrick, marked time and made a life for 49 years before being reborn June 21, 2015. As with every aspect of his life, Chris was faithful to those privileges and prepared for the rebirth.
Chris Alan Kilpatrick was a native of Marietta GA, a graduate of Walton High School, participating in baseball, basketball and wrestling, as well as a graduate of Georgia Southern College, Statesboro, GA, and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
His first love in life was his family, who he provided for dutifully and with happiness.
He was employed as Sr Vice President of Global Clients at First Advantage, Atlanta. Chris “saw the world” and was truly a global citizen which added to his larger than life impact on those around him. His dedication and advocacy for his clients was remarkable. Chris’ work associations remember him most for his humor that made work fun every day. First Advantage honors him for the mentor, manager, colleague and friend he was to everyone who is better for having had the privilege to work with Chris.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Juda Kilpatrick, Marietta; brothers Mike (Janet) and Kent (Rhonda) Kilpatrick, both of Athens, GA; daughter Darien Kilpatrick and son, Coleman Kilpatrick, both of Marietta; five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, Incest, National Network) to honor Chris’ charitable spirit and compassion for victims of sexual assault. Their website address: www.rainn.org. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 24th, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and the service will be at Eastside Baptist Church on Thursday, Just 25th, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hmpattersoncantonhill.com.
