Charles Mapp of Roswell, Georgia, died December 19, 2011. A Navy veteran of WWII, Mr. Mapp was a graduate of Duke University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Survivors include his son, Tom Mapp of Longmont, Co; daughter, Janet McCauley of Canton, GA, grandchildren, Garrett Mapp, Kim Mapp, Andy McCauley and Christine McCauley; great-grandchildren Lauren Mapp and Brooke Mapp; brother, Tom Mapp. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 3 to 6 at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road, NE, Marietta, Georgia, 30068. A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice Atlanta.
