Bruce Donald Thomson

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 1st, 2016, at Georgia Memorial Park Fu-neral Home and Cemetery Winkenhofer Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery Winkenhofer Chapel, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060

Bruce was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1938. He graduated from Hirsch High School and continued on to receive a Bachelors of Science in Business from Miami University of Ohio. He also served in the Marine Corps for six years.

Bruce worked as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 25 years. He enjoyed shooting and instructing others on how to shoot.

Bruce was married to Dawn on November 11, 1978.

Bruce is survived by his wife Dawn, son Ken Thomson, daughter Jan Peterson; grandchildren Michael Gibson, Kenny Gibson, Grant Thomson, and Andi Thomson; sister, Judy McCaslin; brother, Jeff Thom-son; nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Bruce is preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Gibson, father Kenneth G. Thomson, and his mother Maurine "Andy" Thomson.
