Bonnie Fay Veal, 80, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on May 3, 2017. She was born on September 19, 1936 in Swainsboro, Georgia to parents Versie Sowell and John W. Hooks. Bonnie attended Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, W. Forrest Veal; daughters, Saundra (Scott) Hausman, and Susan (Steve) Peacock; grandchildren, Hooks, Leo and Knight Hausman, and Aubrey, Bailey, and Salem Peacock; and sisters, JoAnn Portwood, Glada Harrell, and Carolyn Chatham. Visitation will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill at 12:00PM on Monday, May 8, 2017. Funeral services will follow at 1:00PM at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
