Barbara Ann Stewart

Barbara Ann Stewart, age 88, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Barbara was born in Atlanta to the late Tyra and Elizabeth Beavers. She graduated from Okeef High School. In Barbara Ann's spare time, she enjoyed sewing, fishing, cross stitching, and she was involved in the activities of her church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Billy Stewart and also four siblings.

She is survived by her son, Mark Stewart and daughter-in-law, Debbie Stewart; grandson, Daniel Stewart and his wife Sara Stewart; sisters, Muriel Darby and Dorothy Johnson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home, funeral service will be held 11:00 am, HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel; interment, Westview Cemetery following the service.

In her bible, she had written the wonderful words to a favorite hymn of her which is befitting of the lovely Christian lady she was:

Savior, like a shepherd lead us,

Much we need Thy tender care;

In Thy pleasant pastures feed us,

For our use Thy folds prepare:

Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,

Thou hast bought us, Thine we are;

Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,

Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.
