Arthur Lanier Sanders “Lou” age 84, of Cartersville formerly of Powder Springs passed away December 30, 2016. Arthur was a member and deacon of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs for 60 years. He was saved and baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nina Cole of Cartersville; sons, Arthur Kent Sanders of Cedartown and Jeffery Sanders of Dallas; sisters, Betty June Wallace; Mary Palmer; brother, Douglas Sanders; Grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Phillip, Joel Sanders, and Stephanie Bryan; 10 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Hunter and Rev. Clinton Green officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00PM-8:00 PM at the funeral home. www.davisstruempf.com
