Mrs. Annie “Ann” Flaherty, 92, died June 5th, 2015. She was a person who was always known as someone who had a spirit for life. Ann’s favorite event was to gather family and friends for a pizza party. She is dearly loved by everyone, who has been part of her life.
She was a very strong believer in children’s adoptions; it gave those in need a chance to be loved by a family.
Ann is preceded in death by her first husband; Harold Davis and her second husband; Harry Joseph Flaherty.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Flaherty Turner; niece and nephews, Linda and James Garner, Michael and Lorie Williams. Her family will celebrate her life at 2:00 o’clock, Tuesday, June 9th, 2015, in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Friends will be received from 5:00 until 8:00 o’clock, Monday, June 8th, 2015, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park.
