Anita M Swanson

Mrs. Anita Malvea Swanson, 52, of Roswell, GA passed away June 12, 2013. She was born in Cambridge, MA and grew up in Bellevue, TN. After Anita’s graduation from Bellevue High School, she attended David Lipscomb University and completed her master’s degree in education at Vanderbilt University. Anita enjoyed a 28 year career as a teacher, teaching in Franklin, TN, Knoxville, TN, Durham, NC and at Garrison Mill Elementary School in Marietta, GA for 22 years. She is survived by her husband, Erik Swanson, daughters, Marissa S. Swanson and Rachel B. Swanson, parents, Dr. Pheroze and Ronica Malvea, brother, Arun Malvea and his wife Lisa, nieces Nisha and Niana and nephew Taj. A visitation/remembrance will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill, Marietta, on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11am at St. Peter & St. Paul Episcopal Church, Marietta, GA.
