Dr. Adly Ibrahim

Dr. Adly Ibrahim, age 93, of Atlanta, passed away September 13, 2010. Dr. Ibrahim was a Veteranarian in Port Said, Egypt, receiving his D.V.M. from Cairo University, and his D. Sc. In Virology from University of Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Nabil A. (wife, Carol) Ibrahim, of Augusta; daughter, Hilda (husband, Dr. Onsy) Bestawros, of Dalton; grandchildren, Dr. Michael Bestawros, of Nashville, TN, Catherine Troxler, of Birmingham, AL, Monica Bestawros, of Atlanta, Dr. Alexander Kennaird, of Bethesda, MD; Peter Kinnaird, of Pittsburgh, PA; great-grandchildren, Tabitha Noelle Troxler and Liam Bradley Troxler, both of Birmingham, AL, Penelope Grace Kinnaird of Bethesda, MD.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 2:30 PM in St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, in the name of Dr .Adly Ibrahim.
