Squitieri, Ralph M., 89, of Coconut Creek, passed away December 13, 2013. Ralph was born on December 1, 1924 in Sicily, Italy to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Mamazza) Squitieri. He served his country honorably during WW II in the U.S. Army. Ralph was known for being a practical joker and among his many antics, he played the harmonica over the phone for his children, but they never could tell if he was playing it with his mouth or his nose. He was a wonderful singer and would croon a song at a moments notice. He just wanted to make people laugh. Ralph was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Antoinette, granddaughter, Emily Ann Ferguson, sister, Carmella Fiorelli and brother, Alex Squitieri. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Mary (Steve) Gabrilove, Frances (Vito) Michielli, Phyllis Squitieri, JoAnn (Joe) Amaral, Joseph (Laura) Squitieri, Donna Squitieri, Barbara Squitieri, Laura Squitieri, eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2013, 4:30 - 8:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1 North State Road 7, Margate where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00pm. Interment with graveside service will be Monday, December 16, 2013, 11:00am at Our Lady, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Ralph's memory to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 West Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486.
