So my friend, it has been a year.  Dave's 20th birthday is this month - can you believe it? - and he's in a scuba training class for the Navy.  He said he thinks how "cool" it would have been to have shared this with you and to have learned from you.  I remember that time at Jimmy's house - you were putting that bumper guard on the truck, and you saw Dave there watching... he was just a little one then... you said to him, "Hey buddy, want to help?" and put the wrench in his hand.  His face lit up... A great moment. Funny the things that you remember after so much time passes.  Thinking of you.

I just learned of your death today. I am shocked and heart broken.  We had a very special relationship.  We both love the water and shared a lot of great times together.  We had our ups and downs during our time we spend together, but we never seem to be able to detach from each other completely.

My condolences go out to his family. I met Jeff back in elementary school and we were good friends through high school playing in the percussion section. Although we went down separate paths, we stayed in touch over the years.  Facebook was the tool in which I could see how he spent each of his days diving in the ocean. Every time I logged in, I could see what new adventure he was up to.  I'm going to miss you my friend.

I was shocked when I heard the news of Jeff's passing.  He was a long time friend with whom I shared a lot of experiences starting back in 9th grade.  Although we had lost touch, he has been in my thoughts over the years.  My condolences to all of Jeff's family and friends.  He will truly be missed.

Jeff, where do I start to thank you for comming out to teach our Scout Boys and some girls how to dive. You opened the ocean world to my daughter who after so much fear loves to dive now and can't get enough. You were a terrific person we really enjoyed the week we spent learning from you. We will really miss you and diving with you. G-d Bless you...

I met Jeff when he owned the pub in Williamsburg - he was a great guy - lots of fun and it's sad to know his time here is over...he will be missed by many and eternally loved by even more I believe.  Condolences to the family...May you find strength in the Lord during this time of great grief.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jeff's extended family and to our daughter, Alyssa.  Jeff and I first met when I was 21, he was 23.  Our beautiful daughter is now 23.  Jeff touched many lives~~he certainly was one-of-a-kind.  I feel blessed to have had one last visit with him a few months ago.  

Dear Lord, bring peace to those who were there with Jeff on his last day.  Bring peace also to all who are affected by his untimely passing.  Amen

I was Jeff's friend for the last year. We shared many good times.  I helped him move the last two times, such an adventure just the two of us. I always took care of the pups for him. We had an interesting relationship with our ups and downs but I always was there for him when he needed me. I loved you very much Jeff and always will.  I miss you so very much and my heart is broken.
