First, Greetings ! to Jimmy 's Family and friends. I first want to send my  heart felt condolences to.his ex  wife Gerry Guerrier,his beloved Daughters (sheen,cindy,Sherylann,Dottie) to include his Grandkids,siblings ,and parents, and friends .I am  sorry for the loss of your Dad,Brother, son, friend ,Jimmy Allen, I hadn't seen jimmy in many years ,but what I can recall  was really cool, he wasn't tall,but he walked tall .he had  that little diddy bop to his walk lol.. and he was like an uncle to me and my siblings growing up in Brooklyn, and he loved my mother Edith  dearly!(like a brother)Girls,l(ladies now) Jimmy Loved his daughters! I know the family is Grieving and sad ,we are human and have feelings, but please take comfort in Jehovah God words and promise that those who  have fallen asleep in death will Rise again.John 5:28,29 this is a promise from our creator Jehovah! Acts24;15 .Please take comfort in the ONE  who Provides it at all times 24/7. Your Heavenly Father Jehovah! Love ya'll and hope to see you soon! ..ur cousin /and soon to be spiritual brother

I have many fond memories of my uncle Jimmy.  He always had a beautiful smile. He always had mad jokes and made us laugh.  We could laugh all we want but when the sun come up in the morning,  we was out the door. "Girl get up. Girl get your sister up. Girl let's go"😂 I am most Grateful that my uncle Jimmy and my aunt Gerry had beautiful daughters. I love them so much.  May Jehovah give them the strength and comfort during their time of need and loss.

While i never had a formal introduction to Jimmy, I learned about him through two persons close to him Lucheen and Janet.  I also got the assurance from another close to him who assures me that Jimmy is in heaven. 
She knows this because she lead him in act of receiving  Christ Jesus as his savior.  With this I encourage all friends, family who would like to see Jimmy in the resurrection to do the same.  "if confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with heart on believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10: 9-10 

Me and my family send our sincere Condolences to the family of Jimmy. It's hard now but time will make it easier to deal with.  One of memories of Jimmy he was a great babysitter, always smiling and rip you off in playing Pitty pat. Your guaranteed to lose when he played. Take care girls everything will get better.

Jimmy was truly my brother. One of the most loving and kind person that you could ever know. Always had a smile for you no matter what was going on. My fondest memory of Jimmy was, him and his towel. Man!! He kept that thing on his side and stayed cool always. He was a smooth dresser and for Jimmy it always had to be in the right place. We called him Black Cherry because he was so sweet. I'm  Greatful that I got to talk and pray with him before his wonderful journey home to be with the father. I will never forget the great times we shared with each other and Jimmy, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Some of my most cherished memories and best summers were with you and your family. I’d come down for the summer from Atlanta as a kid to Jack house (really Cindy and Cheen house ) lol and have a ball with the whole gang. I remember you getting on us kids about running in and out the house, acting up, being loud but you always made sure we ate.  You may not know it, but you became my hero when you got KFC delivered, I loved KFC! Most importantly though you treated me like family and I’ll never forget that.  You will truly be missed by all.  RIH

I remember you use too throw the best family parties in Brooklyn. All the kids would play in the hallway in front of the door, while y’all adults were in the house dancing, laughing and living. I miss those days.  One thing that I always wanted to do as a kid was snatch that rag out your back pocket lol.  Love you and wish you safe journey to the Stars.

Oh wow when i think of jimmy i remember riding in the back of his van with everyone and him saying girl you bet not be sitting on those boxes. Lol . He was too funny. I havent seen him in years but i can still picture his face. I know he will be missed

Jimmy was my next door neighbor. Our families were so close. Every time I would come to-their house with no shoes Jimmy would be like “look girl go put some shoes on your feet“Jimmy wouldn’t give you no soda if you didn’t have ice in your cup. I’m sitting here laughing cause we had some good time. One time I had a bad asthma attack and the ambulance was taking a long time Jimmy was looking out the hallway window.  He was scared and  so was I. He kept looking ,  but  He wouldn’t lie to me he also never left. He wouldn’t  leave until they came. Jimmy loved his children dearly.    I have so many fond memories of Jimmy he will truly be missed.   My condolences and prayers go out to the family. I love y’all

Sorry to even have to write this I’m going to miss  my uncle jimmy I know we didn’t really talk much but I remember seeing  him like 2 years ago and  he thought I was my brother lol I always had fun times visiting him in red hook with my aunt Gerry and my cousin I can still hear him say  put some shoes on ur feet girl  he would always give us money to go to the store we go in his room he be sitting in his beach chair with a cold Pepsi lol u will forever be love and truly missed R.I.P until we meet again may the lord keep u in peace love u ALWAYS 

Hello, my name is Paul Holton. My deepest condolences to the Allen family for their loss. Jimmy was a brother from another mother to me. I have a picture that he sent to me when I was in Navy boot camp. That was in 1972.  The last time I seen Jimmy was in 2011 on a cruise with his family. It was great to see him. Plenty of laughs and memories. He will never be forgotten. RIP MY BROTHER.

My sweet brother , I will miss you , dearly, you brought sunshine where there wasn’t, and a smile on my face without knowing, you will be missed each day that passes, but never forgotten. James allen Jr  was the father of my 5 children  Lucheen,   Lucinda Sharyl , Dorothy,  Natasha.  I know he will be greatly missed by his 5 children and his 4 siblings grand children and other family and friends that became a part of his life.  He will never be forgottan Jimmy we all love you and hope we can meet again in paradise where there will be no more pain sorrow or death this will all be things of the past Rev 21;3,4.  I pray and ask Jehovah to be with my children and your family during this most difficult time.   We love and will really miss you.  He will call and the dead will answer John 5:28,29.  To our children may Jehovah the God of all comfort continue to be with you all during this most difficult time.
