Pasta Fosul, I loved it also.God do I miss him We have worked together prior to Pan AM for 2 1/2 yrs I got laid off and I was told to go to Pan Am in NYC and talk to Matt Mosca about a job, he hire me and then I went to talk to Frank that PanAm is hiring and he applied for a job and we been working for Pan Am since 1963.It's hard for me to type anymore my eyes are watery..

I will always hold onto the memories that come to mind whenever I think of you. And these memories start from when I was little, and I would stay for days or even weeks at "The Condo" and I'd change into my pajamas at night and show you how I looked pretending I was a model. You'd always say the same thing: "Wow, you look beautiful!" and even with my tired eyes and messy hair, I knew you meant it. That was something just 'did', it went without saying. I remember the time when I made an origami boomerang out of office paper, and no matter how many times I threw it, it would never come back. So I asked you to help me with it, and you threw it and it came right back to you, no problem. And I remember thinking that it was magic that you could do something like that so easily.
Speaking of "magic", thanks for teaching me how to wink, because I'd never be able to do it without a little special help from my Tio.
Thank you for the big hugs you always had to offer me, and all the times you'd let me wrap my arms around your neck and call it a hug, even though it was probably pretty uncomfortable.
I will miss the trips to Barnes & Noble to pick out the perfect book for you to read, no matter what holiday it was. Christmas, your birthday, you name it: I was always on my hands and knees digging through the shelves because, even though you were so easy to shop for, I had to get you the perfect gift every time.
Thanks for the reminders that I shouldn't watch certain TV shows (you definitely saved me from viewing some crazy things) and here's to all the times we stared at the oil and vinegar at the bottom of the salad bowl, saying back and forth to one another "You can have it this time."
What I'm going to miss the most is the times we spent in the living room: I was on the computer, you were reading or watching a movie, and we didn't talk much during these times, but it was enough to know that you were right there with me. So I hope that where you are now, you're looking down on your "cling-to-Tio toy" and smiling, because I'll be smiling right back up at you.

I knew this day was swiftly approaching and I also knew that I would never be prepared for it. How do I even attempt to say goodbye to my favorite person in the world? I struggled the past few days, trying to figure out what to say. Not because I could not find the words to say, but because I have so many. I could probably stand up here all day talking about my Gramps. I have so many cherished memories and emotions, how could I possibly convey them to you all here today? I always told him, I could write a book about of all the things you say. Well I guess this could be a preview.

I can't talk about Gramps, without talking about softball. I grew up on a ball field and Gramps was there to watch me whenever he could. He told me once that the first time he saw me pitch he got so choked up and tears welled in his eyes. He was so unbelievably proud that I could do such an amazing thing. He was my biggest fan and during my college softball career in Florida he was a constant presence at my games. If there was a game within a 3 hour drive, sometimes even farther; He was there. For me to come off the ball field, give my grandfather a hug and talk about the game meant more to me than he'll ever know. And I am so thankful.

The last time I saw Gramps, I was visiting in March, he thought it was necessary to apologize for “being boring” and “not being able to do anything with me.” My response to this ridiculous apology was “Gramps, all I want to do is spend time with you. I don't care how.” When I was a baby he'd spend time with my family at the beach, a few years later maybe a trip to Disney World, then it was at my softball tournaments and college games, in college Dania and him would take me out to dinner and a movie. Eventually our time together consisted of sitting in the living room, watching tv, reading our books or even just taking a nap. Whatever it was it didn't matter to me—all that ever mattered was I got to spend time and be with my Gramps. 

Now, Gramps was not a man of many words, if you called him on “the cell” it always seemed like he would do his best to get you off the phone as soon as possible. He was perfectly content with a Hi, how are you, I love you. Well when he did talk usually laughter followed, whether he intended to be funny or not. If he wasn't making me laugh, Gramps was usually telling me how proud he was of me. He always wanted to nothing but the best for his grandchildren and we never doubted how much he loved us. 

So Gramps, you probably want me to start wrapping this up. I will miss you, my professional driver, picking me up from the airport when I come to visit and our breakfast dates that would follow. I'll miss your excellent supervising skills, the way you would “hit the ground running” which was actually shuffling around in your slippers, “This guy”, and most of all the hearing you say “I love you hunny”. 

Thank you God, for blessing me with a grandfather as wonderful, loving, kind and funny as Gramps. Thank you Gramps for all the love and laughter you brought to my life. I will carry you with me always. So until I see you again…I love you Gramps.

Dearest Frank-beloved brother and Tio-even though we have been shattered by your loss, we are soo grateful to having been blessed by your presence in our lives. Your goodness, kindness, non-judgmental and hard-working ways have been a lesson to us on how to live life the right way.
We will miss you endlessly but will always cherish those GREAT memories you have left us with:
those "passionate'political talks you'd have with Rick (Thank God you were both on the same side:)

No words could ever describe how much we will all miss you, our brother, sweet Tio. Your goodness, kindness and the great love you had for all of us will FOREVER remain with us, giving us comfort during those VERY difficult moments and filling us with hope that we will, one day, all be together again.
We will miss those special moments we each had with you-your "passionate" political discussions with Rick ( Thank God you were both on the same side)-the times you and I would 
have our "book club" debates ( the rest of them just don't get how GREAT books are :)the love you showed our Coco and Max-(who else would pet them for hours)- and those AMAZING "tio" hugs that Emy cherished so much-(she is learning "Tiny Bubbles" on the ukele just for you :)
I Know we are all shattered right now but one thing is for certain - we have another angel in Heaven looking out for us and that helps ease the pain.
