Today is 12/07/14, which makes 4 months since you passed away and mom 2 months. It has not been easy to loose you and mom in just 2 months apart, but it is getting better, because I know you are not alone you have mom with you. I want to tell you how much I love you and miss you a lot. It is not easy especially that the Christmas holiday are approaching and these are the first holidays that you are not here to cherish them with us, but I know where you are is way much better to be, then it is here. Please know that even though I am not crying as much for my loss of you and mom not being here, but it does not mean that I forgot you or stopped loving you, is that I know you are in the grace of God and that makes me happy to know that. You and mom no longer suffering with sickness, the struggles of everyday life, and that comfort my heart and mind and that is how I cope and get by each and everyday, but never the less does that means I don't think of you. I will always love you and mom. You will forever have a big piece in my heart. I want to wish you and mom and merry Christmas. And when the clock strikes at 12 midnight on New Years eve, know that I will be blessing you and mom. With that and more, will say goodbye for now, until next time I will write more. Had the distinct honor of meeting Don Felix several times in my life he was cordial gracious and above all a kind and wonderful man with my deed condolences I say good to Mr.Vazquez whom I also known as " Papi" RIP Mr.Vasquez you will be sorely missed

Queridisimo padre cuarto te extrano, en el dia de voy vamos a ver a mi santisima madre por ultima vez, hasta que dios desida Cuando es mi dia para Luegos estar todos juntos. Estamos sufriendo demasiado por ti y ahora por mamita, pero se que esta con nuestro señor y contigo. Ella se quizo ir tan pronto no te veia en casa, pero estoy segura que ella sintio tu partida, y muchas veces reclamaba que tu la buscar para esta juntos los dos, ya que el 17 de Octubre hubieran cumplido sus 72 anos de Casados, pero ahora los celebran juntos con nuestro señor, y demas familiares que se fueron antes. Me despido de ti queridisimo padre y madre hasta Luegos. Los amare eternamente.

Mas comprendo que llego tu tiempo, que Dios te ha llamado para estar a su lado, asi EL lo quiso... Pero yo nunca te olvidare siempre estaras en mi corazon querido viejo... Ayyy papito mio! Even though I know Don Felix is in a better place, as I read all these touching and heartbreaking comments left by family members, I can't help feeling a mixture of sadness and pain all over again.  
Don Felix had God's honor and blessing of living a very long life which he embraced with humbleness, joy, wisdom, and a quiet dignity, only reserved for those who have experienced many highs and lows in life.  He may not have been the riches man placed on this Earth, but he had richness in abundance whereas his family was concerned.  His legacy of raising such a large, close-knit, loving, and humble family through so many adversities is testament that with God as your Lord and Savior, anything and everything is possible.  Only a few people, like him, who have lived life to the fullest, had the honor and pleasure of bearing witness to his family's life-long endeavors, as he rejoiced in celebrating everyone's birthdays, wedding celebrations, and personal achievements, and especially loved participating in family gatherings; but by the same token, he never hesitated to share the burden of everyone's trials and tribulations while providing life-long wisdom in order to help resolve whatever issue arose.  
I had the honor of being part of his world, as he accepted me as a family member and welcomed me with open arms from day one.  Thank you Don Felix for treating me like a daughter throughout the years; and especially, for never abandoning me when the chips were down.  For the mere act of sharing your unconditional parental love, and showering me with your abundant, random acts of kindness, you shall always have a special place in my heart.  I'm sure, just like me, you shall always be remembered by everyone with fondness and respect, as you did with everyone who crossed your path.  
You shall be missed for never forgotten, your daughter-in-law, Rosa Vazquez

To my Dear father in law Don Felix thank you for the wonderful memories.  Thank you for accepting me into your family as your son in law. You always treated me with the utmost respect . Thank you for being a kind and wonderful man. I will always remember your kind words and your Puerto Rican wisdom. May the Lord accept you in his hands. I will miss you dearly. Queridisimo padre, vas hacer extranado inmensamente. Gracias por todo lo que haz hecho para todos, como ensenarnos a amar, perdonar, y Siempre quisistes a la familia unida. Te quiero dar las miles de gracias por ser un gran padre, un gran ser humano. Te voy a extranar, te amo y Siempre te lo dije y sobre todo te lo demostre. Gracias te doy por haberme querido, y por todos tus consejos. Fuistes padre y madre y levantastes 10 hermosos, respetuosos y amables hijos.  El mundo esta bendecido por nosotros estar en el mismo. Nunca te olvidare, siempre estaras en mi mente, pero sobre todo el mi corazon. Se que estas con papa dios juntos con todos quienes se fueron antes, pero se que algun dia vamos a estar juntos. Gracias tambien por haber servido a este gran pais de Los Estado Unidos de America, por tu servicio militar. Me despido de ti, pero solamente por un rato, porque cuando nuestro señor desida que ha llegado mi dia de partir nos vamos a encontrar nuevamente y esta vez vamos a estar junto eternamente, amen.
