He was born June 12, 1946 in Chicago to Frank and Joanne (Pucek) Beda. In 1991 he married Patricia Deneen in Marengo.
Richard is survived by his wife, Pat; his brothers, Robert (Noreen) Beda and Ronald (Joanne) Beda; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank.
Visitation will be from 9:30am until the 10am memorial Mass on Thursday, May 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 N. Taylor St., Marengo.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart Church.
