John L. Burmeister, 77, of Marengo passed away February 28, 2016. He had an amazing sense of humor, enjoyed building furniture, was an avid Nascar fan and loved his dogs. A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed deeply by his family - wife Darlene, three children and their spouses, Leslie (JoséManuel), Charles (Lucie) and August (Janice), and two stepchildren Lloyd (Vicki) and Suzanne, as well as eight grandchildren, and his two brothers Allen and Bill and their families.
