David Kieser

Our sweetie David Kieser, 72, of Union left us on Sweetest Day Saturday, October 20, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 30, 1940 in Belvidere to William and Lillian (Beland) Kieser. He married Judith Magee in 1960 at Kingston Methodist Church. He worked at Woodstock Die Casting for most of his life and later worked at Clausens Tavern. He volunteered with the Marengo-Union Little League and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Union since 1977. He was an outgoing people person who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Judith, children; Ricky (Lisa) Kieser, Tammy Kieser-Wilkins, Randy (Vicky) Kieser, grandchildren; Ashley (Bryant), Megan, Haley, Brooke, great-grandchildren; Hayden, Kayla, Raylyn, brother James (Joann) his twin brother Daniel (Bonnie), several brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; William, Albert, Robert, Richard, Joseph and Ralph Kieser, sisters Margaret Fischer, Lenora Horenbeger and LauraMae Reed.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wed. Oct 24 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 6821 Main St. Union. Funeral service will be at 11 am on Thurs. Oct 25 at the church. Interment will be in Kingston Township Cemetery, Kingston, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Union Fire Department.
