The NFL lost one of its’ biggest fans
After graduating from Greenbriar Military Academy, Bill was awarded a full-ride football scholarship to Northwestern University in Illinois. After college he spent two years in the Army as a cryptographer.
His dream was to live in South Florida and so began his 47 year career with the City of Coral Gables, Fl where he was recognized as being the longest serving director in the City’s history.
He loved fishing, animals of all kinds and was a proud member of the ELKS for 62 years.
A Celebration of Life will be part of the St. Mark’s Bluegrass Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 15th at the Parish Hall with brunch to follow.
