Richard Crosby Calvin

Richard is survived by Bonnie, his loving wife of 53 years; his daughter Elizabeth Murphy (Paul) of Cincinnati, OH; his son Todd Calvin (Sarah) of Austin, TX; his six grandchildren; his twin sister, Lynne Borman (Tom); and his sister-in-law, Mary Jo Wray (Bob).

Born in Cincinnati, OH, Richard graduated from the University of Cincinnati and worked at AK Steel in Middletown, OH for 43 years as Director of Business Planning. He and his wife retired to Marco Island in 2007. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Heart Association and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church.

Richard loved living on Marco Island, where he enjoyed fishing, meeting new people, and making friends. His family and friends will miss his outgoing nature, his genuine love of people, and his kindness.

A gathering of family and friends in memory of Richard will take place Saturday, January 27th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Marco Presbyterian Church at 875 W. Elkcam Circle until the service starts at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Marco Presbyterian Church Mission Fund.
