Randle Grossman, age 79, passed away peacefully at Avow Hospice Home in Naples on Jan 6, 2024. Randle was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on Oct 1, 1944, and was raised in Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri and then completed his MBA in New York City. In NYC, he worked in marketing for a variety of pharmaceutical businesses, before opening his own successful New York advertising agency.
Randle was a man who wholly enjoyed his work and cultivated a lot of wonderful relationships along the way.
In New Jersey, he and his wife Susanne were blessed with finding an outstanding Catholic Church, The Christian Community. This Community, under the direction of Father Peter, gave him spiritual direction, love, solace, and support throughout his entire life. Randle worked hard to contribute to its mission of compassionate support and outreach to others.
Randle retired and moved to Marco Island in 2010. Here he developed many friends and enjoyed some leisure time playing some tennis and golf and traveling extensively around the world. He also had a long time involvement with the Marco Men’s Club, and served as President in 2012. He enjoyed traveling and organizing many social activities. He and his wife Susanne thoroughly enjoyed so many social events and trips with this group.
Randle has also been a member of the Kiwanis Club, and the Marco Sports Fishing Club where also made many friends.
Randle over the years served as a Guardian Litem as well as a mentor to teenagers at Grace Place. He also is a member of the San Marco Catholic Church. Randle is survived by his loving wife Susanne who was at his side for over 54 years. He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Gray and Dorothy Kolesik, his brother-in-law Robert Kolesik, his niece Allyson Kolesik and his grandniece Raleigh Halbert. He also has seven cousins, Michelle Grossman (Javier Paz), Steve Randle, Dan Randle, Rodney Randle, Robert Randle and the late Dennis Randle, and their loving wives, Suzanne, Susie, Sharon, Connie and Ellen, and Pat Armitage, Katie Joosten Armitage, and Karen Armitage Lafond and their families. The entire family offered loving support to Randle on his journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 11:30 a.m. at San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Road, Marco Island. The service will be followed by interment at the Memorial Garden of the church and a repast in the church hall.
