Lynne W. Ritchie

Lynne was born in Staten Island, NY on August 22, 1939 to John and Evelyn (Beebe) Wanty. She was married to John Joseph Ritchie on November 19, 1960. In 1962 they moved to Long Island to raise their family subsequently moving to Illinois in 1980 and finally to Marco Island FL in 2000. Lynne loved to bowl, read, solve crossword puzzles, play mahjong, bead, crochet/knit and play cards. She was a member of the Marco Island Newcomers Club and The Tropical T's Club.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She was the beloved mother of Janine Ritchie of IL, Scott J. and Daughter-in-Law Diane, and cherished granddaughter Cassidy Lynne.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 on January 20, 2017 at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home, 577 Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, FL. A graveside service will follow immediately at the Marco Island Cemetery.

Lynne loved her friends and family passionately. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. We will always carry her memory in our heart. LOVE YA!
