Kurt Michael Kropik, 41 passed away at his home on December 12, 2024. Growing up on Marco Island, Kurt explored the sea life at the beach, enjoyed fishing, skateboarding and was a natural ballplayer. After high school, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale where he attended barber school.
When his father became seriously ill, Kurt moved back to Marco Island to help his family. He worked in the family salon business and was a tremendous help for everyone. Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kropik. He is survived by his mother, Lenora Kropik, his daughter, Juliette Kropik, his sisters, Camille (Peter) O’Neill, Nicole (Jimmy Hagerman) Kropik, his uncles, Sean, Al and Dana, his cousins, Andrea, Peter, Russell, Joey, Alisha, Johanna and Sean, Jr.
A Funeral Mass will be held at San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Rd, on January 4th, 2024 at 11:00 am. The Celebration of Life will be hosted after Mass at The Bayside Club, in the social room, 838 W. Elkcam Circle.
