James F. Austin

James Frank Austin, 82, of Naples, Florida formerly of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully at his home. He was born July 4th,1941 in Evansville, IN to the late William and Ruth Austin. He was a Christian and is now in the presence of our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jim was a hard-working business owner and entrepreneur. He always had a positive attitude and loved joking around with others. He viewed and treated those who worked for him as part of his family. Jim was very content with living below his means but was a generous giver to anyone in need.

Along with his parents, Jim was also preceded by his brother Thomas Austin.

Jim is survived by his loving and caring wife Maria Rhiza; sons Curtis (Rita) Austin, Christopher (Tia) Austin. Grandchildren Elizabeth, Connor, William, Landon and Turner Austin. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Judith) Austin, sisters Sue (Mark) Bryant, and Katherine (Steve) Faulkenberg; Nieces and Nephews, Todd, Patrick (Dee), Michael Austin, Ginger Johnson and other loving family members.

A funeral service will be held at Hodges-Josberger funeral home on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Marco Island Cemetery following the service.
