Helen was born in Chicago on April 11, 1930 to Harry and Sarah Mowery. She was the 4th born of 9 children. Helen was a devoted wife of 34 years to Stanton Isenberg, Airforce Veteran, who passed away in 1994. Stan and Helen owned Colonial Camera Shops in Berwyn, La Grange and Hinsdale Illinois, a favorite gathering place for local professional and budding photographers.
Helen had lived happily the past 8 years on Marco Island, FL, where she was loved “hook, line and sinker” by her companion, Edward Sadowski.
Helen is survived by her children, Gwen Tolson and Steven Isenberg, her grandchildren, Matt and Lisa Tolson, Alana, Jordan and Sara Isenberg and great grandchildren, Isabella and Ellie Grace Isenberg, in addition to her sister, Sally Kearney and brother, David Mowery.
Helen was the “ultimate lady,” loved and respected by so many. Her smile and wonderful sense of humor will be remembered and greatly missed. Her kind soul will live on in our hearts and memories, until we are all together again.
