

George was born with an infectious spirit that drew people to him. Known as the life of the party, his laughter was contagious and his zest for life was unparalleled. Whether at home or at gatherings, George's presence was always a source of joy and warmth.
George dedicated four years of his life, from 1963 to 1967, to serving his country with pride as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. His military experience profoundly shaped his character, embedding a strong sense of honor and discipline that he carried with him for the rest of his days.
George's professional journey led him to the sun-kissed shores of Marco Island, Florida, in early 1970, where he landed with Deltona Homes Corporation. His keen business acumen and leadership skills quickly shone, guiding him to manage Marco Island Airways and then as a Condo Association Manager.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, George's greatest pride and joy was his family. A devoted husband, he shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, creating countless cherished memories. As a father, he was a guiding light, offering wisdom, support, and unconditional love. His role as a grandfather, or "Papa" as he was affectionately called, brought him immense happiness and fulfillment. His two beautiful granddaughters were his treasures, and he relished every moment spent with them.
George's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit that touched everyone he met. His life was a testament to the power of joy and kindness, and his memory will continue to be remember by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Sandra, his son Shane, his daughter-in-law Tyler, his two cherished granddaughters, Gracen and Halle, brother Albert, two sisters Vivian and Bobbie Lee. George is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret and brother Robert. He also leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held at the San Marco Catholic Church Banquet Hall (851 San Marco Rd. Marco Island, Fl) on May 18, 2025 from 3-5pm, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of a life well-lived.
George Moore will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and happiness, a man who truly lived life to the fullest.
