Edward Samuel Marco

Edward Samuel Marco, 85, a US Navy veteran, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 26th after a gallant battle with cancer. Formerly of Chicago, and a Northwestern University graduate, Ed founded Marco Supply Company, Inc. He spent the last 30 years as an active Marco Island resident; serving as past-president of both the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island (JCMI) and the Crescent Beach Condominiums. He traveled the world, and was a member of the Forum Club of Naples as well as the Hideaway Beach Club, where he resided with his loving wife of 60 years, Phyllis. Ed is also survived by his children: Leslye Botta, Lisa Marco Kouba and Lance (Mary Catherine) Marco; grandchildren: Bryan Botta, Amy Botta, Andrew Kouba, Adam Kouba, Samuel Marco and Maximillian Marco; and his brother Jerome (Gene) Marco. Funeral Services: November 29 at 2:00 p.m. at JCMI, 991 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island, FL 34145. Interment to follow at Marco Island Cemetery.
