Marilyn, I just heard about Doug's passing.  I have very fond memories of you both.  Sending healing prayers to you.  May you find comfort in your memories.

Marilyn, I am very sorry to hear of Dr. Schipitsch's passing. I am forever grateful for the privilege of working with and learning from him. He made me a better nurse. I will always remember his tireless work ethic, excellent care of his patients, his love of a "good" joke, and how much he enjoyed his work, with you by his side. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

My heart is heavy with the news of the loss of Dr. Schipitsch.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Marilyn.  I have so many fond memories of the time spent with you both at work and at the lake.  He will truly be missed.

We had so many good memories together. I've fond memories together in Chicago, Wisonsin, Maine & Florida. Doug always played 50 & 60's music for me & could name every title & singer too. He was a fantastic chef on the grill. He was a good husband, father, friend & doctor.  I remember him telling me how much he enjoyed working with the elderly & American Indians on the reservation.
