Donna Jean Burnett was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on August 27, 1947 to Elsie and Maurice Emond. She earned her angel wings on March 28, 2021 when she passed away in Naples, Florida with her loving family by her side.
Donna was a warm, happy, passionate woman who enjoyed life. She loved to cook in the kitchen, challenge herself with crossword puzzles. collect seashells at the beach, and snuggle with her puppy dogs. However, her ultimate passion was for her family. She met her husband, Paul Burnett, when he was serving in the Air Force. They fell in love, got married, and enjoyed 55 inseparable, loving years together.
Donna had many accomplishments throughout her life but the ones that mattered the most to her were that of being a mother and grandmother. She was the most amazing, loving mother to her two daughters, Cindy Burnett and Jenn Burnett Cushman and a proud, caring grandmother to her two grandsons, Daniel and Brenden Cushman.
Donna had a heart of gold like no other. She will undoubtedly be greatly missed by all. Here on Earth a significant loss has been felt but in Heaven the most beautiful, loving, kind-hearted angel has taken flight.
Rest in peace, mommy. We love you. You will always be in our hearts. May God embrace you with as much love and kindness as you have given to all of us throughout your years of life. May God shower you with beautiful roses every day to remind you just how special you are and how much you are missed by all your family and friends.
