Sarah Ruiz, 34, of Marblehead, died peacefully at home January 1, 2014. She was surrounded by family and loved ones in her home.
She grew up in Natick, attended college in Boston and graduated from UMass. She moved to Marblehead with her long time love, Michael, later marrying and enjoying a beautiful life by the ocean with their dogs, Niko and Summit.
Her spirit lives on within the family she leaves behind; her Mother, Diane, her siblings; Michael, Rachael and Daniel, countless family members and loved ones. We will miss her dearly but her spirit will live on within us.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead on Tuesday, January 7 at 11AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial in the Jonas Alliene Cemetery, Royalston will be at a later date.
