Patricia Ann (Doliber, Curtis) Connors, wife of Robert S. Connors Jr. with whom she shared over 23 years of marriage, passed away peacefully in Salem Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born in Marblehead on Oct. 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Winona and Arthur Doliber.
Pat was raised and educated in Marblehead graduating Marblehead High School. Of her many accomplishments, she was very fond of her first job as a “Soda Jerk” at Eaton’s in Marblehead. She married her first husband, the late John “Stu” Curtis and had two beautiful daughters Tammy and Pam.
Later living in Salem, she spent many years at Hood Sail Makers doing various jobs that she loved. After Leaving Hood Sail Makers, she also worked several years bartending at Palmer Cove Yacht Club, Olde Mill Pub in Salem and the Brandy Barrel in Lynn. She finished her working career as a Keno Operator. First at Keeffe’s in Salem and ending at the River St. Grill in Beverly where she made lifelong friends.
She enjoyed bird watching and gardening where she excelled. She also loved spending time at their camp in Littleton, NH with family and friends. She deeply loved all her family and friends and was never afraid to show it.
Pat was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend who will be sorely missed. In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her daughters, Tammy Marrero and husband Angel, and their sons, Brandon Marrero, and Jason Gilbert and his wife Brittany; and Pamela Leroux and her husband and Jay, and their daughters, Melissa and Samantha. She also leaves her nephew, Adam Doliber and his wife Jennifer, and their son, Tyler; her stepfather, Fred Mungen; and her brother, Ben Doliber and his wife Belinda of Maine.
A funeral service will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Wednesday, April 27 at 11AM. Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Marblehead. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, April 26 from 4-8PM.
