Nancy grew up on the edge of Forest River Park in Salem and attended Salem Schools, playing in the Salem High School Band. After raising five children, Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for Connelly Brothers Construction in Beverly Farms and then Marino Construction in Peabody till she retired.
Nancy enjoyed reading, shopping, and was a master of crosswords and puzzles. She was a wonderful host for her large extended family, both in Marblehead and Madison, NH, where she and her husband had a second home - “up country” - welcoming us all for fun reunion weekends and holidays at Silver Lake. She loved to bestow affection and gifts upon her lucky grandchildren, all of whom she gave sweet nicknames.
A celebration of life will be held in early October for family and friends to attend. Nancy’s final resting place will be at Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation, volunteer, or plant flowers or a tree with her warm, kind heart in mind. She will be missed, treasured, and loved forever.
