He was born on July 2, 1966 at the former Lynn Hospital. He is survived by his mother Beverly Hower, his father Gene Hower and his stepmother Harriet Hower.
Matt was an avid guitar player and had a wide repertoire of songs. He had worked for a local landscape designer and was an accomplished gardener with a love for planting and flower growing.
In addition to his parents and step-mother, he leaves his beloved, Odessa Burkinshaw of Marblehead and 3 nephews, Benjamin, Alexander and Nicholas.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Eustis-Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm St. Marblehead on Thursday at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will follow in Waterside Cemetery. Visiting Hours at the Funeral Home are Wednesday from 5-8PM.
