Jean was a parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Marblehead for 60 years. She was a member of Tedesco Country Club, and a former member the Corinthian Yacht Club. She volunteered and served as a member of the Lynn Hospital Auxiliary, Junior Aid Society of Marblehead and the Junior League of Fall River, MA.
Born in Springfield, MA, December 13, 1927, and raised in Cobleskill and Albany, NY, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the College of New Rochelle (NY) in 1952 and then attended Albany (NY) Business School.
An avid bridge player, golfer, bird and animal lover, she was loved for her gentle kindness, charming wit, feminine style, radiant smile and positive outlook on life. She could always bring a smile to her family, who she adored.
She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, John A. Harrison, their son John A. Harrison, Jr. of Salem, MA, daughter, Lisa Harrison Michaud of Beverly, MA, and brother Paul R. Casey. She was the daughter of R. Roy Casey and Veronica T. Casey of Albany, NY.
Jean is survived by daughters Kathleen Harrison Richards of Exeter, NH and Ann Veronica Harrison, of Naples, FL; former sons-in-law, Paul A. Richards of Falmouth, ME and Philip D. Perrino III of Cape Elizabeth, ME; grandsons John Harrison, Joshua Richards and wife Pamela Richards of Boston, MA, Nathaniel Richards, of Portland, ME, and granddaughters Natalie Perrino of Louisville, KY, and Lauren Perrino of Cape Elizabeth, ME.
Services will be held in Eustis and Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street, on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11am. Burial immediately following in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association.
