Frank P. Morse III M.D., 75, of Swampscott, MA, died September 18, 2016 following an illness of several months. He was the beloved husband of Beverley Neil Morse. Born in Salem, MA on March 27, 1941, he was the son of the late Dr. Frank P. Morse Jr. and his wife Frances. He was a graduate of Phillips Academy (1958), Williams College (1962), and McGill University School of Medicine (1966).
Dr. Morse entered the US Navy in 1968 and served as a surgeon at the Naval Hospital in Da Nang, Vietnam. Following the completion of his military service and urologic training in 1972, Dr. Morse practiced at North Shore Medical Center, retiring in 2005. He served as Chief of Surgery from 1992 until his retirement.
Dr. Morse is survived by his wife, Beverley, of Swampscott, and his two children; Dr. Christopher R. Morse and his wife Andrea of Marblehead, MA and Amy Morse Rogers and her husband Scott of Vail, CO. He leaves his brother Robert W. Morse and wife Lesley of Silt, CO and was predeceased by his brother Bruce A. Morse. Dr. Morse was the proud grandfather to Andrew and Ian Rogers and Sydney Morse.
