MARBLEHEAD - Bill Cuzner was born and raised in Marblehead and was a well known painting contractor in town. He joined the Army in 1960. While stationed in El Paso, Texas he was a member of the U.S. National Pistol Team. He is a life member of Danvers Fish and Game and was Captain of their team in the Greater Boston Pistol League. He was also a coach with the Marblehead Youth Marksman Association. Bill loved being on the water either sailing on his catboat, Echo O' The Morn, or under power on his boat, Judy Sea. As a member of the BYC he was on the House Committee and the Race Committee for many years. He was also a member of the Philanthropic Lodge, Maddies Anglers and was involved with the wounded warrior project. He was a long time member of the Gerry #5.
Bill leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Judith (Smethurst) Cuzner, his son, Frederick K. Cuzner and his wife, Lisa of Danvers, daughter, Trista L. Cuzner of Kansas; granddaughters, Lily M. Cuzner and Jon Feliciano of Marblehead, Hannah E. Cuzner of Manchester, NH; great-grandson, Noah Feliciano of Marblehead; brothers Richard Cuzner and Patti of Marblehead, Robert Cuzner of Punta Gorda, FL; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Sammy, his dog. He was predeceased by his father, Frederick H. Cuzner and his mother, Evelyn (Doherty) Cuzner Clay, and his sisters, Joan Maude and Sandra Lank.
Visiting hours for Bill will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm Street with a Masonic funeral service at 6:30 PM during the visiting hours. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Summer St., Marblehead. Burial will follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.
