William J. Arvin, 87, passed away August 19, 2011. He was born in Bedford, Indiana and lived in Indianapolis until he retired from Ryder Truck In-Service Center in 1988. He moved to Texas, where he had been a resident of Granite Shoals, Texas for the last 12 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jane, and his son, William “Mike”. He is survived by his daughter, Sue Wampner of Granite Shoals, son John (Karen) of Speedway, IN, son Steven (Sonia) of Harrison, AR, daughter Mary-Jo Paugh (Steve) of Indianapolis, IN, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Sister Agnes Virginia, SP. St. Mary of the Woods, IN.
William was a veteran of World War II.
