'Trey' Richard Leon Fisher III, age 51, of Marble Falls, Texas went to his heavenly home on October 13, 2022 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. Trey was born on September 24, 1971 in Burnet, Texas to Rick Fisher Jr. and Donna Hutsell Fisher. Trey graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1990 and married Krista Edwards on March 14, 1992. Trey joined the Air Force as a Dental Tech and
was stationed at Hill AFB in Utah. After moving back to Texas, Trey began his own business of TF Construction.
On October 19, 2000, Trey and Krista welcomed into the world their only child, Seth. After the death of his father in June 2003, Trey took over the family business, Fisher's Iron & Metal Inc. He loved working in the metal industry, be he also loved coaching his son in sports. He was actively involved in soccer and football over the years. In October 2005, Trey and Krista opened their own shop, Fisher's Iron & Metal Inc. on Commerce St. in Marble Falls. Trey was also active in the Masonic Lodge, National Rifle Association, American Welding Society, helping the Marble Falls High School Welding programs, FFA, Boy Scouts and the 4H Club.
In March 2020, his granddaughter was born and he became the best Papa of the sweetest "Princess Turkey". Two months later he was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. He made the best he could of his last few years and reminded everyone to get regular annual checkups.
Trey was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, mother, step-dad, aunt and brother.
Trey is survived by his loving wife, Krista Fisher of Marble Falls, his son Seth and wife Racheal and granddaughter Ryland of Burnet; brother Will Kornegay and wife Deborah and nieces Love and Nicole of North Carolina; and numerous other loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, TX. A graveside service will be held after the funeral at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4.
