Tom Cook

Tom was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. He was a quarry manager at Dean Word/Capitol Aggregates and had been employed there for 39 years. He was very active in the Highland Lakes Chili Pod and was their “Great Pepper”. His sons will always remember him as a great father and friend to many, many people in Marble Falls.

Survivors include his sons: Todd Cook of Tampa, Fl., Craig Cook & wife Melissa of San Antonio and Daniel Cook & wife Rachel of Tucson, Az. and his grandchildren: Alexandra, Taylor, Morgan, Miranda, Austin and Harper. He is also survived by his sister Marion Clark of Boerne and twin sister Gerry Currey of Austin and his brothers, Jim Cook of New Braunfels and John Cook of Pleasanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle in October 2005, his parents and one sister, Meta Beth Cook.

Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Marble Falls with Bro. Max Copeland officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 PM at Comal Cemetery in New Braunfels.
