Shannon Huffman

Shannon is preceded in death by her daddy, Odie O’Brien; her sister and brother-in-law, Sally & Daniel Dossey Sr; and her father-in-law, Don Huffman.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Ricky Huffman along with their children Matt Huffman and wife Jessica and Christina Huffman and partner Justin Smith. Along with their children, Shannon and Ricky have four granddaughters; Taylor, Sara, Saige, and Halleigh.

Also surviving Shannon is her mother, Sally O’Brien along with the rest of her sisters; Cindy & Brian Sullivan, Hatti & Jeff Hartman, Tirish & Allen Mynk, Odia & Ron Russette, and Keren & Matthew Schuessler. Also surviving Shannon are her mother-in-law, Barbara Huffman and Rick’s brother and sister, Joby Huffman and Marcie & James Norman. Along with this family come 27 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Shannon married Ricky on October 10, 1992. She loved that man so much! She loved Ricky and their children and loved being Nonni to the grandbabies. She loved her horses, dogs, and the devil cat along with the turkeys, doves, and squirrels she loved watching in her front yard and her Texas A&M Aggies!

She enjoyed trail riding and the fellowship of the GRA-Trails family. She relished being Nana to all the nieces and nephews. But her greatest joy was the girls; if you wanted to see her light up, ask about her grandbabies!

Shannon’s death leaves an empty spot in our family but we take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and suffering. She is with Daddy and Sally now and is at peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Funeral Services are Friday, April 26 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls. Interment will follow at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.

Escorting Shannon home will be her beloved brother-in-laws Brian Sullivan, Jeff Hartman, Allen Mynk, Ron Russette (honorary), Matthew Schuessler, Joby Huffman, and James Norman and Kirk Gumm, and Justin Smith (honorary).
