She was born in Ansbach, Germany on January 31, 1955, to Lt Col Charles Harrison and Ivory Harrison. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Harrison Harris, and her husband Buddy Harris from Marble Falls, TX. As well as nephews, a niece and their families, and her Austin, TX, Florida, and Alabama cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ivory Harrison, her brother Bill Harrison, and his son Bryan Harrison.
Becca attended Elba High School in Elba, Alabama, and graduated from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. She was employed with the Bay Independent School District, Panama City, FL., as a Paraprofessional, working at Cedar Grove Elementary School in the Autistic Department. Becca worked with conscientious, compassionate, caring teachers, who touched the lives of so many children. Many of whom she maintained friendships with after she retired in 2020, after moving to Townepark apartments in Kingsland, TX.
She was happiest when interacting with children, playing board games and being with the Elba Girls of 73’ on their annual beach trip to Panama City, FL. Food, cooking, was never far from her mind. We all were recipients of the famous “kitchen sink” quiche.
Becca dealt with many health issues during her adult years, but she faced them with grace, courage and determination to “make the best” of it. The Serenity prayer was her compass during these times. Her dear friends, and special cousin Debra Rivera supported and encouraged her through some of the most challenging times in her life.
Services will be announced later. A donation in her name, can be made to the American Heart Association.
