RC was born on February 21, 1927 in Fredrick, Oklahoma and moved throughout the west coast and around the world to finally settle in Texas.
RC was married to Melba Price for 76 years and up until his passing, he would ask how “mama” was doing. RC loved to ride motorcycles and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club. He was a man of God and loved hard. Those who had the pleasure of meeting him loved him dearly.
RC served during WWII aboard the USS General Aultman as a Ship’s Cook Third Class from February 1945 to May 1946. While serving aboard the USS Aultman, RC crossed the international date line as well as crossed the equator.
RC served again as a Corporal with US Army, Company L, 1st Infantry Regiment from January 1949 to December 1952. While enlisted in the US Army he earned his private pilot's license. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, American Area Campaign Ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal.
RC was preceded in death by his father: William Spencer Price; his mother: Gertrude Vannay; his son: Richard Price and many others.
He is survived by his beloved wife Melba Price (Wright) of California; his sons Clifford and Scott Price and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There is no doubt that RC lived a grand life and until we meet again, FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS.
