With a booming bass laugh that could fill a room, Scientist & Physicist Lee Gammill held an amazement for life that will be remembered with love and admiration long after his passing. He was a wonderful storyteller with great words of wisdom and life lessons that he shared with his family.
Lee peacefully passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 74 surrounded by a family who will honor his memory by living their lives with joy.
He loved reading, puzzling over the mysteries of the universe, and traveling the globe, achieving his goal to walk each continent. He enjoyed his lifelong friends from Zachary Taylor Elementary, Harding High School, and Oklahoma State University, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Physics. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict and became a systems engineer at Texas Instruments until his retirement.
Lee’s life is celebrated and joyfully remembered by his wife Susan, his children Tamara, Heather, Bonnie, and Shaun, and his many grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the National Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice to honor of a life well lived is preferred.
A Celebration of Lee's life will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 4:30 pm at the First United Methodist Church, Marble Falls, Texas.
