Chris was born in Liberty, Texas to Pete and Minnie Lee Campbell on August 2, 1945. One of four brothers, Chris attended the Hull-Daisetta schools through graduation in 1963. Chris enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Chris is survived by his wife Betty Jo (Kershaw) Campbell, brothers John Allen (Bonnie) and Rick (Wooty), brother-in-law Larry (Pat), son Jason (Kay), daughter-in-law Deborah, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Minnie Lee, brother Stafford and son Jimmy.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Blanco First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on January 27, 2024 between 1:00-3:00 in the afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation or a charity of your choice.
