Ermelinda Salazar Collazo

Ermelinda Salazar Collazo passed away November 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 75. Ermelinda was born in Del Rio, Texas on April 14, 1949, to Eulalio Salazar and Isabel Salazar.

Ermelinda is preceded in death by her parents, Eulalio and Isabel Salazar and her sister Irma Fuentes.

Ermelinda is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Raul S. Collazo of Marble Falls, Tx and her children – Victoria (Tom) Flores of Marble Falls, Tx, Velma (Manuel) Beltran of Burnet, Tx, Raul Collazo Jr of Marble Falls, Tx, Sandra Stone of Midland, Tx, Consuelo (Phillip) Cearley of Marble Falls, Tx, Cynthina (Scott) McCon of Abilene, Tx, 6 Brothers- Raul, Rogelio, Reynaldo, Rodolfo, Raymundo, Daniel Salazar and 1 sister- Olga Reyes, 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren that loved and cherished her deeply.

Ermelinda was a devoted wife and mother that enjoyed spending time with her husband fishing and watching her soap operas and her WWE Wrestling, which reminded her so much of her father. She was a hard worker who provided for her family and always put her family first than her own needs. Her house was always open to all her family in any time of need.

She will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Visitation for Ermelinda will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 Highway 281 North, Marble Falls, Texas 78654. Ermelinda's Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 am, also at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
