Emilia was born in Jakarta on January 8th, 1984, to Gianto Tirtomuljono and Allena Johnson in Indonesia. Emilia, a radiant soul, leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through the threads of family bonds and friendships. She is survived by her mother, sister Evelyn Utami Dewi, brother Ronald Hartono, and her kindred spirit, dear friend Alexis Long. Emilia's departure leaves a void that echoes in the hearts of her extended tribe, all of whom were profoundly touched by her luminosity.
In 2010, Emilia earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from the University of Southern California. Lymphedema management was her specialty; she also sought innovative solutions to assist in alleviating the many symptoms of her patients, infusing creativity into their healing.
Emilia's gifts extended beyond her professional life. She embarked on a spiritual journey later in life, embracing her sweet yet powerful voice, acknowledging the healing power within her hands and being, and using them to help others. She loved to travel and explore new places, spend time with her family and friends, and find joy in the simple things in life.
Emilia was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and a guiding light to many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
As we say goodbye to Emilia, we celebrate her life and the legacy she leaves behind. Her love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.
