Born in Austin, Texas, Carrie grew up in The Hill Country of Central Texas. She spent many years in the Lake Buchanan area, played sports in school, graduated from Marble Falls High School and attended college at Texas A&M in College Station and later at Texas Tech University. Carrie was well loved in the communities she lived in and brought life and laughter everywhere she went.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Billie and John Parker, her sister Laura Henderson, sister and brother in law Jaime and James Dyer, brother and sister in law Franklin and Jennifer Parker, and her sons Wesley Young and Baby Denny. Carrie is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Hope Eskew, Christian Eskew, Brianna Griffin and Luke Dyer.
Service will be held at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, Texas.
