Brenda Kaye Riccio

Brenda Kaye Riccio, aged 70, passed from this Earth to be with the Lord on May 9, 2023. She died peacefully surrounded by family after complications battling an advanced lung cancer. Brenda was a resident of Austin, TX at the time of her passing, however she grew up in the Abilene area where she met her husband of 51 years. She was born to Delbert and Nora Belle Simpson. Brenda graduated from Abilene High School and was active in sports such as basketball. Brenda enjoyed gardening and took great care of her plants. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She also loved to fish and spend time outdoors.

Brenda is survived by her husband Anthony (Tony) Riccio, son Vincent (Vinnie) Riccio & his wife Ana Paula, daughter Toni Blackington and her husband Rick Blackington, and four grandchildren: Abbye, Malachi, Elijah and Joey. She also leaves behind three brothers, Larry (Bud) Simpson and his wife Shirley, Johnny Simpson and his wife Jana, and Phil Simpson and his wife Faye.

A celebration of life service will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home located at 1805 N. U.S. Hwy 281, Marble Falls, TX 78654 on Saturday, May 20th at 2:30 PM Central Standard Time. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Rd. 4 South, Burnet, Texas 78611.
