Bertha Mae (Frasier) Wagenfuhr, age 84 of Marble Falls passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was the oldest of five children born to Lillie Belle (Hood) and James Carl Frasier on May 4, 1929, in the Double Horn community of Burnet County near Marble Falls.
She worked at the Mathis Factory on Lake Marble Falls for many years and later for the Marble Falls school system for many years, retiring in the late 1990’s. While at the school she started out in the cafeteria and was later librarian at the Junior High School and then a teachers aid. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Bertha Mae married Fritz Wagenfuhr Jr. on December 20, 1947. They were blessed with four children, Laine, Diann, Cynthia, and Craig.
Bertha Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Laine and siblings Joe Frasier, Bonnie Frasier Daywood, and Annie Madolyn Frasier. She leaves behind daughters Diann Ebeling and husband Ralph, Jr. of Round Mountain and Cynthia Gibson and husband Lynn of Burnet and Son Craig and wife Shirley of Marble Falls. She is survived by her grandchildren Carla, Max, and Wes Ebeling, Hunter Gibson and wife Megan, Gwen White and husband Adam, Reba Taylor and husband Brandon and Lily Wagenfuhr. Bertha’s great grandchildren are Conner and Fallon Gibson, Zane, Payten and Sutton White, and Kendall Taylor. She is also survived by her brother Brian Frasier and sister-in-law Norma Frasier and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Those named as pallbearers were Craig Wagenfuhr, Ralph Ebeling, Jr., Lynn Gibson, Hunter Gibson, Max Ebeling, Wes Ebeling, Adam White, and Jim Daywood.
The funeral for Bertha Mae will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, October 7, 2013, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Holton George officiating. Burial will follow at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
