Andy was raised in Clay County, Indiana. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed all sports, especially fishing, baseball, and golf.
Andy was a member of the U.S. Army before beginning a thirty-seven-year career with IBM. He retired in Austin, Texas. Andy loved his hometown of Brazil and he was always happy to share a memory or two of good times spent with family and friends.
Andy leaves behind his wife, Nina of sixty-seven years, a son Mark, wife Heather, children Jina and Mason, a daughter, Sheila, husband, Eric, children, Alysson, Drew, Tyler, and Jessica, along with many loved nieces and nephews.
Andy was preceded in death by his mother, Julia, father, John Arthur, brother, John Kenneth, and brother, Larry Thomas, “L.T.”.
Andy never met a stranger. He was loved by everyone and every pet who knew him. His humor and smile will live in our hearts forever and he will always be remembered as the best dad, papaw and ultimate animal whisperer there ever was.
